Looking for some spooky events to attend this Halloween? Look no further than devilish Devon! Devon is steeped in ancient history, with numerous fascinating folk stories originating from Dartmoor and Exmoor. The infamous Hounds of the Baskervilles were known to have haunted the moors, which apparently inspired Sir Arthur Conan Doyle to write the Sherlock Holmes mystery.
There are plenty of frighteningly fun days and nights out during the month of October. Whether you’re looking for a family friendly activity or something for the adults, you’ll find it here in Devon. With scary walking trails, pumpkin carving, theatrical shows and even fancy-dress discos, there’s something for everyone!
The Creepy Crealy Spookfest
Crealy Spookfest is back and bigger than ever this October half term. With a whole host of fearsome activities, you can expect Halloween shows, the Creaky Hotel, singing pumpkins and a scarecrow maze, as well as a FREE pumpkin for every child.

The Hellish Halloween Trail at Canonteign Falls
Head on over to Canonteign Falls for a child-friendly spooktastic Halloween trail. Each child is given a fun activity pack with a scratch mask and spooky jigsaw to complete. If you bring your little ones in fancy dress, you could be in with a chance to win a family day ticket for 2022!
The dates for this year’s Halloween trail have not yet been confirmed. Keep an eye on their social media channels for further information.
