Literary Lovers Unite at Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival

Budleigh Salterton will be hosting its 10th literary festival this year, due to take place from Wednesday 15th – Sunday 19th September 2021. At just under an hour from our glamping site, you can enjoy inspiring talks and readings, as well as entertaining panel events and workshops, from some of the UK’s most talented authors, playwrights, scientists, comedians and much more. This diverse selection of award-winning authors will be covering a wide range of topics and genres, both fictional and non-fiction. This year, Strictly judge Dame Darcey Bussell, comedy actress Celia Imrie and scientist Richard Dawkins will be headlining the programme – click here to book!



Fun Foodie Favourites at Abbfest in Newton Abbot

Step outside your luxury canvas tent and drive just under an hour to reach Newton Abbott; home to the amazing Abbfest from Friday 17th – Sunday 19th September 2021. Showcasing the best food, drinks, and crafts across the southwest, Abbfest has over 200 local ales and 30 ciders available, as well as wonderful wines and spirits. This weekend promises to be jam-packed full of music and cooking demonstrations, with a specific family fun day of activities scheduled for Saturday 18th September. Cultural Celebrations at Sidmouth Science Festival

The Sidmouth Science Festival is set to return this year, with 10 days full of educational entertainment from Friday 8th – Sunday 17th October 2021. Drive just under an hour from our glamping site and discover hours of entertaining talks, activities, and workshops, suitable for all ages and abilities. Themes for this year include food, materials, robots, and dinosaurs; as well as the usual astronomy and geology explorations.
